Black-legged Kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla), Santa Cruz River at Ina Road, Pima, AZ, Pima County

This Black-legged Kittiwake was discovered and photographed by Matthew Rohen-Trapp on 06 November 2021. Later that day it was seen by many others and photographed by Gary Rosenberg and andrew Core.

Black-legged Kitiwake is a casual late fall and winter visitor to the state, and this represents only a second record for Pima county.
