Hooded Warbler (Wilsonia citrina), Tumacacori National Historic Park, Santa Cruz County

This male Hooded Warbler was discovered, photographed and recorded by Moez Ali on 11 August 2008 at Tumacacori National Historic Park on the Santa Cruz just south of Tubac.

Casual to rare mostly spring transient and summer visitor.  A former review species, reports have increased over the last few years and there are now multiple reports every year. 

Adult males are stunning and unmistakable.
