Little Blue Heron (Egretta caerulea), Sisson Rd., Maricopa County

This adult Little Blue Heron was discovered and photographed by Pierre Deviche on 14 May 2005 along Sisson Road near Painted Rock Dam. 

Little blue Heron is a casual spring and summer visitor in Maricopa County.  Most records are of immatures.
