Sabine's Gull (Xema sabini), Lake Havasu, Mohave County

This immature Sabine's Gull was discovered on 06 September 2008on the AZ side of Lake Havasu by Stephen J. Myers, Vesta Myers, Curtis Marantz, Bill Deppe, and Brad Singer and photographed by Stephen Myers at the same time.

Normally rare and irregular fall migrants throughout the state, Sabine's Gulls are staging quite an influx into Arizona this year with reports from many locations.
