White-throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis), Tolleson, Maricopa County

This astounding White-throated Sparrow came to Bill Grossi's backyard water bath on 3 July 2008 where he obtained these pictures. There are no previous records for Maricopa county between the end of April and beginning of October. There are a smattering of May records in SE Arizona and only one previous summer record for the state of an injured bird at Willcox on 6 June 2002.
