Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris), Paton's at Patagonia, Santa Cruz County

The first Arizona record of Ruby-throated Hummingbird, a female, came in late December 2004 at a backyard feeder in Tucson. On September 23, 2007 Scott and Linda Terrill found an adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird and another bird believed to be a hatch year male Ruby-throated at Marion Paton's feeders in Patagonia, Santa Cruz County. They photographed both birds. The adult male was seen again and additional photos and video were obtained on 9/24/07.
